Parkway Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Aldersgate on the Parkway! We have a variety of ways you can help our ministry at the AP.

1. The worship teams on Sundays can always use help with setting up, sound, hospitality, etc.

2. Another big part of our vision for the Parkway sees it as a community outreach center. We already have many churches, organizations and individuals who are using the rink for their parties and events, as well as our own open skate times during the week and on weekends. As this part of the ministry grows, so does our need for volunteers.

Event Teams

Every event we have needs people to run skate distribution, concession sales, and the admission booth. To help during upcoming events, please sign up HERE for the days and jobs you want to work. We will train you on the job.

Worship Teams

If you are interested in serving on a ministry team for worship on Sundays, contact one of these team leaders or a pastor to indicate a desire to serve on one of these teams:

Worship Team - Led by Dennis Cornelison. This team is responsible for leading us in worship singing each Sunday.
Up/Down Team - Led by John Smith. This team will be responsible for setting up and taking down the worship set-up each Sunday.
Hospitality Team - Led by Robert and Julie Barnett. This team will be responsible for being a friendly, helpful, and welcoming presence to worship attendees, helping to serve refreshments and serving as ushers.
Video Team - Led by David Hall. This team will be responsible for running the video slide presentation for worship song lyrics, announcements, scripture, and sermon points.
Sound Team - Led by Cory Berry. This team will be responsible for helping set-up the sound system, going through sound check with the band, and running the sound system during worship.
Finance Team - Leader by Nick Nicholson. This team will be responsible for helping collect, count, and secure the offering each week.
Kids Team- Led by Rachel Sparkman. This team is responsible for registration of children, leading kids' church, and working in the nursery.
